Alex Zawalnyski
Creative Director
Whilst studying at the University of Edinburgh, Alex had three short plays produced by EUTC Candlewasters: Living With My Ex, Tainted Love, and The Both of Us. This final play was developed into 50 Words, which Alex also performed in. The piece premiered at the Exeter Fringe Festival, where Alex grew up, before transferring to Edinburgh. This was followed by being selected to write for Scottish Youth Theatre, and his duologue Vitamin C being long listed for the BBC InterConnected Award. Alex then performed in Terrence the T-Rex both in London and Edinburgh.
Alex is interested in uncovering overlooked stories, and encouraging audiences to reconsider their perspectives. Through his writing he aims to give actors and creatives an opportunity to use a broad range of theatrical techniques to tell the story in compelling and engaging ways.

People we've worked with
Without the talent and dedication of these people, none of our projects could have happened.
